Since I'm here from the Studio One cluster[redacted], maybe i should be here for having a real conversation about how... rich featured FL is, how great the supports are, and the fact that the software itself convinced me from a cracked user to now a Signature user.

Been a Signature user for 3 years. I know it might not be a lot for some people, but i gotta say something about FL: It's great. Out of all the DAWs i use, from Cakewalk, hellhole named Abelton (or is it ableton, it's disabled af), or just cancers like Avid Pro Tools or gigachad who basically gives their software like Winrar (Reaper), i have to say that FL suited me the most. their unique workspace fit me better than everything else i can imagine for, their synths and affects are good, and absolutely busted (Serum? it can go to the trash can for its cancerous CPU usage, all hall Sytrus and Image Line synths), and most of all, their holy grail named the piano roll. God i swear they are good. Beside that, they also have generous packs and presets like kick and other stuffs, which can actually be used in other daws, UNLIKE SOME SPECIFIC SOFTWARES WHICH MAKE EVEN THE SIMPLIEST SOUND THEIR FREAKING PROPRIETARY BULL[redacted]. (I'm talking to you, Studio One and Bitwig.) At the same time, I do have to mention that their support are great, they helped me whenever im stuck, they have a forum, where i can download free stuffs, and there are also a subreddit, which so far has the most people in. That's why now i'm now a legit user, and why do i buy Signature Bundle? Well, of course. FREE LIFE TIME UPDATE. hey, 20+ years is quite a thing they give for such cheap software after all, of course i need to support them too.

In the end, i do think that Image Line and their software are good, lightweight, and very efficient. and since now they bought AVI (whatever their name is, they are plugin and instrument developer company), im extremely excited for what to come next.

I give the product 5 stars. The customer service needs to be worked on, A LOT. It took 3 months to finally figure out why I could not reactivate the software after a computer crash. For the folks asking why they don't understand the negative reviews, wait until you have a serious authorization issue and see how hard it is to recover. It always amazes me how people judge other peoples experiences.

Then you get to checkout and find out its just a clickbait lie.

They then add 20% tax!!!!

Based on these underhand tactics I cannot recommend them. Avoid

Image-Lines "Fruity Loops" is not my favorite DAW for writing a tune from start to finish. I prefer a more intuitive left to right thing compared to FL's idea of building sections, and then arranging the sections.

BUT...
Straight out of the box it sounds better than any other DAW i have ever used. I don't know what their secret sauce is, but it works. And in every other respect (other than the one gripe i started with), Fruity Loops is by far the most fun, most intuitive, and just damn BEST DAW i have ever tried. Not only that, but the newer versions now work seamlessly in Linux (distro AV-MX 21.1) with little or no tweaking needed. And on top of that, Fruity Loops can also be used as a plug-in inside other DAWs too. So, best of both worlds then.

If only they could sort out the arrangement screens to make it more conventional, then i wouldn't need any other DAW ever. And even if they don't, when using FL to sequence my hardware, then pattern based is exactly what you want anyway.

But most of all, the free updates for life will save you THOUSANDS of pounds, over just a few years. Many rival DAWs not only expect you to spend hundreds of pounds on updates every couple of years, but some also want as much as £20 a month subscription on top of that to accesses their better features!

And yes, i know that there are DAWs that are free, or almost free. But not one of them i have tried is even 1% as much fun, or sounds as good, as Fruity Loops. Just use something else (Ableton, Reaper, Ardour, whatever) to arrange the results if you need to.

Worst customer service Ever. For such a big company too. cant believe how bad they where. Not even Copy&Paste, just Talking Rubbish. obviously employing other countries to do the customer service.

Anyone thought about suing this company? If you buy their products and they still don't give you technical support/customer support this is against the agreement right? They Revoked my license after i put a claim since the way they treated and forced me into buying their software was digusting. Beware you can't use samples or loops with the cheapest version(I did that) So i payed 80$ more in taxes almost. Don't think they will ever give clarity they just ignore emails and leave you in the cold while holding your money

I bought fl studio a few months back, but am constantly running into glitches which freeze the computer causing crashes. I also hate that fl has become a marketplace platform where it seems that every plugin you try requires another purchase. It's sickening that this hobby has become so expensive. Shame on you
